I love this song George made. An oldie, but a goodie!!

Thanksgiving was lovely, as always {love spending time with the fam... that's always my favorite. I missed the few who were away! I guess my convincing skills need a little brushing up...}. 

The bummer part was when I caught the flu two days later and Thanksgiving dinner all came back up. Ugh. No thanks - didn't want to see YOU guys again! But, the biggest shout-out goes to my wonderful husband, who's tender side was such a strength to me during those miserable hours. Goodness, I sure love him.

We put up Christmas on Friday... and oh!! I love everything about this holiday. I love the whole season. It's so fun to get into it & decorate -- it makes the magic come alive. I love the sparkly tree, our perfectly Christmas-scented candle, the bells... and all the wonderful décor that makes it feel like our own little wonderland at home :)

We also decided to sleep in this year, rather than hit up any "Doorbusters!" ...and it was kind of nice! No crazy lines... still caught some great deals... had a full night's sleep. Maybe that will have to become the new tradition ;) It was funny to shop with Nick FOR Nick. We split up and tried not to catch each other around the different stores. Walking to the car together went something like this, "OKAY, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! ARE YOU PEEKING!? DON'T PEEK!" I've never been so aware of my neck. 

Oh, and who else is SO excited about this flick? Eeek!!
