Two things

Two things that have floated around the ol' noggin lately:

1) How many people are visiting Utah right now from out-of-state / out-of-country?

2) If every single person {who's alive} on this earth right now stood together, how much land would that cover?

Two things that made me laugh this weekend:

1) I woke up wayyyy too early on Saturday morning. I laid in bed, wondering what to do... then slowly {and sneakily} reached above my head to grab my glasses case. I opened the case, put them on, then quietly closed the case and slowly reached over my head to put it back on the headboard. I carefully turned my head to see if Nick was still asleep... it was dark, but looked like he was - phew! So, I got out of bed, then hear this, "Whatchya doing?" ...dang! Later that day, he told me that he watched the whole thing happen {me trying to be sneaky}. Haha -- what!? He was just laying there, staring at me, not saying a word... the whole time?! It made me laugh, cause I probably looked wayyy dumb moving in slow-mo like that.

2) Nick and I tripping over our words multiple times on Saturday... example: Nick saying "Texes" instead of "Taxes," me saying "Sorryorry" instead of "Sorry."

Two things that have touched me recently:

1) Having a stressful, frustrating afternoon at work on Friday... then walking into my apartment to see only the Christmas tree lights on, 3 balloons that read "I LOVE YOU!" ...two streamers crisscrossing overhead ...hearing our first "song" playing - "The Saltwater Room" - and Nick popping up from behind the island and blowing his kazoo, welcoming me home. He said, "Even if it's been an awful day at work, it's always a party here!" Immediate tears... a lot of hugging... and love that was SO pure & full - that moment was perfect. What an amazing husband.

2) Going to our friends' daughter's baby blessing, getting to meet their miraculous little girl, and see our faithful friends & hear of their strong testimonies.

Two things about this week:

1) My brother's flying in from San Francisco -- YAY! My sister & family are driving up from Vegas -- woohoo! And my bro-on-the-mish gets to SKYPE with us on Sunday... EEEKK!!!

2) I think we're going to drive around in jammies tonight, admiring all the pretty twinkle lights on peoples' homes. Also -- fingers crossed that it will SNOW this week!? {Before I cross my fingers that it WON'T snow until next December...??}

I know we totally need it to snow! It's never this dry this close to Christmas. I'll be so sad if it's not a white Christmas. What an awesome surprise to come home to after a hard day, probably completely changed your weekend too! What a great husband you have. :)

I laughed out loud at the image of Nick popping up with a kazoo to welcome you home. You guys are the best.
