excited.

I am maybe a little in shock that Thanksgiving is already here, but am SO looking forward to this weekend! 4 days straight of being together with Nick?! YES!!! Oh, I just love the family togetherness of the holidays and am excited to watch some of the Macy's Day Parade, maybe play a little football in a park?, eat yummy food & visit with family.

Side rant: part of me thinks it's a little ridiculous that stores have backed up their Black Friday deals to 8 or 9pm ON Thanksgiving... what about pie with the fam!? It's like when all the candy's put away at the stores on Halloween [and is filled with the next holiday's candy/decor]. Let the holiday live!! I'm all about Christmas -- BELIEVE me... ALL about it.. but I'm okay to let Thanksgiving have its day. Sooo... maybe stores should go back to the 5am thing on Friday. Since, y'know, it's called Black FRIDAY. Not Black Thursday. 

Anyway. When Thanksgiving is officially over & Friday is here, we are BREAKING OUT THE CHRISTMAS DECOR! Aaaahhhh! This is most definitely THE most exciting time of year. We're in a new place this year, so it's going to be even MORE fun to dress it up with all the Christmas cheer. PLUS, we now have a kid who gets to experience the magicalness of Christmas for the first time. BAH! Fuh-reaking out.

Annnnnd on Saturday, I have the sweetest friend who's doing my hair!!! AH! I am SO looking forward to this. I'm ashamed to say how long it's been since I've gotten my hair cut [let alone done professionally]... sooo, this is kind of a huge deal. READY FOR A CHANGE! [Tasha, you're the best!]
