because this is all I can come up with right now.

Nick's on the other side of the country again [3rd time in the past month and a half]. BUMMER! ...but at least we keep agreeing that we're better when we're together... *insert Jack Johnson song here*

I am a total chick flick lover! Zero ashamedness about that one. I'm pretty much always in the mood for a swoony tale. We watched The Notebook last night... okay. I love that one SO MUCH. If I could live in a different decade, the '40s would win. [if you take out that whole war deal ;)]            -- Back to The Notebook --      the story is so romantic & playful & PASSIONATE! All the best things. Confession: I always turn the show off during that last scene when they're young... the old lady freak-out moment is a little too much for me. And I just like ending it when they're at the beginning of their life together, rather than the end of it.. ;)

Jaden is a little WIGGLER! But when I point to my nose & say "Nose" then point to his nose and say "nose" [and do the same thing with everything on the face/bod], he just stops moving and stares. IT'S THE CUTEST THING! I love watching his mind grow. And that whole teething thing? Facing it like a champ. I think his first is about to make its debut.

Also. TV Question here -- does anyone watch Downton Abbey? What's the craze? Should I give it a try while Nick's out & can't stop me? ;) I don't know - I might even stop me. I don't see the draw besides the fact that it's somehow really popular. Do you know what should be more popular? UP ALL NIGHT! So bummed that Christina left the show. Another goody? THE MINDY PROJECT! Those two tickle my funny bone like no other.

This post makes it seem like - besides Nick & Jaden - shows rule my life. They don't, I promise. Now off to watch P.S. I Love You...?! ;)

I love The Notebook too. Just the other day my sister and I were talking about that movie and I was telling her that I wish they had just made the movie without the old people part. I always get really bored on the old people part and want to go back to the Rachel McAdams / Ryan Gosling part. I also think the ending in the nursing home is REALLY cheesy!!! It is a great movie, but it would have been even better if they'd just not done the old people part. So I totally understand why you turn it off a little early. Maybe I'll do that too from now on. Chick flicks are the best and they never get old!

boo to your husband being gone!! never fun, but absence makes the heart fonder, or something, right? glad you have another cute little guy to keep you company! and no judgement about having a tv show you're crazy over. got waaaay too obsessed with desperate housewives.

i started watching downton abbey after it showed up on netflix once (first season), so i thought i'd try it out. i know i got super into it... but i haven't gotten back into it since the 3rd (or whatever they're on) season...! so, you could or you couldn't. if you need something to watch--go for it! if you don't want to get into something else, don't--i don't even remember why i loved it, soooo.... there's my two cents. :)

haha. I turn off The Notebook then too! :) My husband's family is super in to downton abbey. They told us to try it and said we'd get hooked! But we haven't yet. Not sure if we wanna get involved with another tv show. :)
