I tried Chinese food for the first time in NYC [on Choir Tour] in my senior year of High School. Can you believe that?! That's over 17 years of depriving my taste-buds of that scrumptiousness! Sheesh. Thank the good heavens that changed. Otherwise, we wouldn't be celebrating Chinese New Year this weekend. ;)

For some reason, I brush my teeth with warm water. I think it's because it keeps my insides warm. And is it just me or does anyone else's hands get/stay cold practically all the time?

The act of waking up... like, actually deciding to open your eyes for the day & get out of bed... oh. That's gotta be one of the toughest things to do everyday [only because it's so comfy to just lay there all bundled up...] ...unless it's a day when you're going on a big trip or something and the adrenaline kicks you outta bed before you even have the chance to think about what you're doing. However, as hard as it can be, I love the 4 eyes I get to stare at each morning. :)

I like ice in my milk. And I basically just like ice. I carry around my big ol' jug I got from the hospital when Jaden was born & I fill it to the BRIM [or above the brim] with ice, then fill in the gaps with water. Sloshy goodness, I tell ya.

Stretching feels so good. Yes, the splits & bending-backwards kind... but also just that morning stretch when you raise your arms high above your head & point your toes down to the core of the earth... ooph! The best.

I love this month!!!! February is such a beautiful time. So romantic & full of love. Whippin' out the "Can't Love, Can't Hurt" album by Augustana & melting into those songs... those are some swoony tunes. Mmm.
